EXACTLY 30+1 MY LOVELY

Can you believe it? It’s not that it was that long

It was not enough; let that not take away from how great it was

I just want so much more that I would, if I could, rob the past for more time

I feel, I could have done much better

I’m not too worried about  the next 30, I’m sure you’ll  find way’s to entertain me

I thank you for the love and everything else, it is more than I could hope for

I love you more as I loved you then, and I will love you till the end

May we be blessed with more years together

You make me so happy like no other

Resolution

A reset button, meant to reprogram our minds

A mind set, to start new beginnings

Changes, we require ourselves to do

Promises, of better things to come

Acceptance, of things not yet changed

Goals, to guide us

New solutions, to old problems

Hope, for something better

And dreams, that are very much possible

Been writing about so many other things.

I’ve almost forgotten how it was to sing.

My mind has been totally out of line.

It’s probably a phase, I’ll be just fine.

Now I’m back to writing more songs.

This I feel is where I belong.

It”s hard for me to find my rhythm.

Songs about love will be among them.

I try, and try to no avail.

This again is where I would fail.

I need your help for some inspiration.

Tell me, what it is that gives you motivation.

It may not be the best I fear

But it will  always be yours, my love, my dear.
